Birthday parties & Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations
“Reserve” Riley’s Place and come on-site to our farm in beautiful Woodside for your party. Space is limited, be sure to book early! Call or email Wendy Mattes for fees, booking and guidelines. wendy@rileys-place.org (650) 703-5199.
Or, have your party at the location of your choice and invite your guests to make a financial donation to Riley’s Place instead of bringing a party gift.
In-home sales parties
Host a scrap booking, jewelry, fashion, or home accessories party and donate a portion of the total sales for goods or services purchased to Riley’s Place.
Weddings
Ask guests to donate money or goods to Riley’s Place in honor of the happy couple.
Concerts, Holiday & Anniversary Parties, Wine Tastings and more can benefit riley’s place. You can turn almost any special event into a Party with a Purpose for Riley’s Place.

Play Date with a Four-Legged Friend
In the happy, peaceful atmosphere of Riley's Place, children will come to visit and play with a favorite four-legged friend! What is it like to brush a horse? What do goats eat?
This program enables children to come to spend time with a four-legged friend - patting, grooming, feeding, and experiencing the unconditional love of a gentle animal. We have: miniature horses, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, miniature donkeys, babydoll sheep, a cat, and even a red hen!
For those clients who are physically able and who have physician approval, a ride in a horse-drawn cart, or a ride on the back of a pony can be made possible. Individual, private appointments can also be made by calling Riley's Place and scheduling in advance. |
Four-Legged Friends on Wheels
This program is designed for the child who is homebound and too ill to travel; or for a group of children in a facility (hospital, residential program or homeless shelter). Our mobile unit can bring animals to visit! From a one-animal visit in a private home, to several animals visiting a facility, Riley's Place animals will travel!
Mobile visits from Four-Legged Friends on Wheels should be scheduled, in advance, by calling Riley's Place.

Fun on Horseback
With the experienced guidance of Riley's Place staff, children facing health or family challenges can enjoy grooming, saddling, bridling, and of course, riding a horse! Located in Portola Valley,Webb Ranch provides a warm, friendly, safe and fun family environment, as well as many gentle and kind horses.
Webb Ranch has been owned and operated by the Webb Family since 1922, with our 5th generation currently living on and taking part in daily operations of the ranch. It is the Webb Family’s wish to continue with the family tradition of providing a warm, friendly, safe and fun family environment to our equestrian and equine friends and to continue to produce and provide the highest and freshest quality produce to our community and customers.
