New Riley's Place Barn

|
We recently completed construction of a conservatively small - but truly wonderful - environment for children and animals to have fun together. Riley’s Place barn is nestled within the renowned National Center for Equine Facilitated Therapy (NCEFT) easily accessible from HWY 280 and Woodside Road. This is a very special location, perfect for the beautiful and comfortable little barn and visiting center that is home for our animals and a year round haven for our visitors to enjoy them. There is also an outdoor area for visiting, as well as a relaxing garden for enjoying and appreciating nature.
Below are the projects for Riley's Place that need your financial support. More details and special giving opportunities are available. Please call or email Wendy Mattes, Executive Director, Riley’s Place for more information: wendy@rileys-place.org, 650.703-5199 |
RILEY'S PLACE ANNUAL FUND – Help us reach out to children in need.
- Please give generously today to help pay for the cost of operating our programs. We are a grassroots, volunteer-powered organization
- Our programs are offered free of charge to children in need, so your help in supporting our programs is greatly needed
- Please help us raise enough money to cover the cost of caring for our animals (i.e. feed, bedding, housing, veterinary care, equipment, etc). and the administrative costs associated with operating the organization (insurance, land lease, website, utilities, etc.)
- For our fiscal year January 1 through December 31, 2010, the anticipated annual program and operating costs are estimated at $100,000
We are always so grateful for donations of bedding, veterinary and farrier services, feed and maintenance equipment (rakes, shovels, fencing, office supplies: reams of paper, toner for laser printers, light bulbs, postage etc.). |

Catch a Ride on The LadyBug Shuttle!

The Bottini family donated a golf cart which will be our "Ladybug Shuttle," ferrying the children from the parking lot to our barn. They will paint ladybugs on it, and the journey to the barn will be part of the fun! |
